Create New Project Plan

Project plans are comprised of a set of procedures used to generate associated work orders and define their dependencies, as needed. Procedures that will be used in the plan should be defined prior to creating the actual plan.

  1. Choose between two options:

    • Click the down arrow next to the New button.

    • Select File > New > Select from the Main Menu.

      The Module menu opens.

  2. Select Project Plan from the menu.

    The Project Plan Details page opens.

  3. Enter an ID for the project plan in the ID field.

  4. Enter a name for the project plan in the Name field.

    This name will be propagated to all projects created from this plan.

  5. Select a category for the project plan from the Category field, if appropriate.

  6. Select the repair center for which work orders should be associated from the Repair Center field.

  7. Select a shop from the Shop field.

  8. Select a supervisor from the Supervisor field.

  9. Click Save.

     

  10. Access the Procedures tab and define the procedures that will define the project work orders, along with their dependencies.

  11. Click Save.
